The Recorded

The Recorded is an ongoing series of artistic documentations focused on avian species under threat. Each collection highlights a specific category of endangered birds. It begins with The Recorded I, which features eight critically endangered species from the IUCN Red List, followed by The Recorded II, centered on vulnerable or critically endangered endemic birds of Thailand.

Each collection consists of eight hand-crafted and numbered ceramic tiles, with painted portraits that merge each bird with a human head. This visual approach echoes the Feathered Minds series. These hybrid forms reflect our shared fragility, urging acknowledgement and responsibility. At its core, The Recorded is a quiet act of witnessing — a visual archive for what may soon be lost.
